After 20 years, Hersheypark will end its Sweet Lights holiday drive-thru experience.

“After 20 seasons of holiday magic, Hershey Sweet Lights will not return in 2026 as we focus on growing Hersheypark Christmas Candylane,” the park said in a statement. “Thank you to every family who made the drive-thru a part of your holiday tradition. We look forward to making new memories with you at Hersheypark Christmas Candylane!”

With more than 600 illuminated displays, Sweet Lights offered a two-mile drive located across from Hersheypark.

The park’s Christmas Candylane will see some new experiences this year.

A “Fire & Ice Experience” will feature “icy lights and blazing flames,” and holiday festive cars and displays will be part of Twin Turnpike. Plus, a holiday soundtrack will be added to Holly Jolly Laff Trakk and a “holiday open house” will be part of the Estate of Evil haunted house.

Hersheypark says it has more than 5 million twinkling lights throughout the park.

Christmas Candylane at Hersheypark will be open on select dates from Nov. 13 through Jan. 3.
