Hallmark Channel kicks off Countdown to Christmas at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, with “Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story”—its third movie partnership with the NFL.
The movie stars Lyndsey Fonseca and Robert Buckley.
The movie was filmed “entirely at locations in and around Chicago, showcasing iconic locations, beloved traditions and the passion that surrounds one of NFL’s most storied franchises,” Hallmark says.
Hallmark’s previous two movies featured the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. The Chiefs’ movie featured Donna Kelce, Taylor Swift’s mother-in-law.
In addition to Fonseca and Buckley, the movie with the Bears also features Marsha Mason, Barbara Alyn Woods and Khary Payton.
Later in the season, Lacey Chabert returns to a Hallmark Christmas movie with “Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True.” That movie premieres Saturday, Nov. 28, at 8 p.m. It also stars Travis Van Winkle, Christy Carlson Romano, Justin Bruening and Richard Kind. “Holiday Ever After” was filmed at Walt Disney World.
On Dec. 5 at 8 p.m., “A Grand Biltmore Christmas” debuts as part of Countdown to Christmas. The film stars Holland Roden, Niall Matter, Andie MacDowell and Jonathan Frakes.
Check back because Hallmark plans to announce the full Countdown to Christmas lineup in mid-September.
