Gift giving, ‘n at: Find all sorts of Pittsburgh gifts virtually

Bummed that the Holiday Market at Market Square is closed?

Mixed emotions — since it’s for the health and safety of our community. Besides, let’s all be safe now so we can have this tradition for years to come with our friends and family.

Here are some local artists I enjoy supporting for holiday gifts, ornaments and decor. These are in no particular order. Also, I tossed in the Heinz History Center, which sells a lot of Pittsburgh-themed stuff!

Youngstown’s Z104 radio station first in nation to go all-Christmas

It’s back! And a month earlier than last year!

Youngstown’s Z104 flipped from oldies music to holiday tunes on Friday.

“If ever ‘we could use a little Christmas, right this very moment’ it is this year. We simply want to lift people’s spirits,” Bill Kelly, Cumulus Youngstown vice president and market manager, said in a statement.

The station flipped last year at the end of October.

The station will return to oldies music after the holiday season.
