Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” has passed Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” as the longest-running No. 1 song in Billboard Hot 100 history.
Carey’s holiday hit spent 22 weeks at No. 1 across multiple chart runs. “Choosin’ Texas” reached 23 weeks in September, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Carey’s song returns to the Hot 100 each holiday season, which gives it another chance to climb the chart this year.
