Among the many events and business ventures Dolly Parton had been working on when she died was a project called “Dolly on the Holly.”
That’s according to Parton’s longtime manager Danny Nozell.
In a statement, Nozell said the team “handpicked” by Parton “will ensure the many dreams she had yet to fulfill are brought to life,” according to MusicRow.com.
Among some of the other projects in the works:
- Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel, which is set to open Sept. 14 and host a grand opening on Sept. 29)
- Dolly Dolls, which launch online Sept.15
- Dolly’s Life Of Many Colors Museum, which set a grand opening for Sept. 29
- Dolly’s Cup Of Ambition Coffee, which launches online Sept. 29
- “Dolly: A True Original Musical On Broadway,” with previews beginning Dec. 7 and opening night set for Jan.19, which would have been Parton’s 81st birthday
- Dolly’s Dog Treats, which are planned for 2027
- Dolly Bedding & Home Decor, which is planned for 2027
Parton was also working on some sort of “avatar performances.” She shared the details days before her death in a statement to People magazine.
