Let’s have a parade!
From pins to ornaments and a varsity jacket, Macy’s dropped a series of limited-edition items to celebrate the 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The department store’s varsity jacket features embroidered patches and classic letterman jacket detailing. The individual patches can be purchased separately without the jacket.
Other items include a special “Let’s Have a Parade: Celebrating 100 Macy’s Parades” book by Kim Keller. This commemorative book celebrates 100 years of the Macy’s parade, looking back at a century of performances, balloons, floats and more.
The book is currently listed as unavailable on the Macy’s website, which lists it as a “Macy’s exclusive.” However, Simon & Schuster says it’s available at other retailers, including Barnes & Noble, Hudson and Walmart.
Plus, there are items featuring Disney characters, Snoopy’s gang and, of course, Macy’s parade characters.
New this year is Billie Brightpaw, a character balloon created for the 100th parade.
Macy’s describes Billie Brightpaw as: “She is a curious companion with a magical glowing paw and red star that guides her on extraordinary adventures.” Add Billie as an ornament to your tree.
