City Cast Pittsburgh: Why Pittsburgh’s already searching for a Christmas tree

The great people at City Cast Pittsburgh — the daily news podcast that connects listeners to the city we love — invited me (Bobby Cherry…it’s me, hi!) on as a guest recently to talk about all things Christmas in Pittsburgh … in September!

Of course, when City Cast Pittsburgh host Megan Harris and I get together, we can chat up a storm (or blizzard?) about everything and anything!

But the main focus of the interview was that the city of Pittsburgh is searching for a tree for the City-County Building.

You can (and should!) listen to the episode here.

(And, tap here to see a gigantic version of one of my favorite pictures of me!)

We also talked about some of the must-do holiday season things. I mentioned Kennywood Park’s Holiday Lights and Megan talked about the Old Allegheny Victorian Christmas House Tour. Plus, I got in some time to share about the Steubenville Nutcracker Village and some other events!

And read more about Pittsburgh’s tradition below.

Many, many thanks to City Cast Pittsburgh for inviting me on.
