Let’s have a parade!
The 97th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade steps off Nov. 23 in New York City and across the country on NBC.
The parade will feature 21 balloons, 25 floats, 29 clown crews and so much more.
New balloons include Beagle Scout Snoopy, Blue Cat & Chugs, and Monkey D. Luffy — the latter being Adam Sandler’s character from the animated film “Leo.”
Macy’s has not yet announced celebrities who will appear. Stay tuned for updates!
This year’s parade will be hosted by “Today” show anchors Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker. Roker missed last year’s parade.
NBC is the official broadcast network of the parade, which will stream live on NBC’s Peacock app.

More about Macy’s Parade
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has marched through the streets of Manhattan almost every Thanksgiving since 1924. The parade was suspended from 1942 to 1944 due to World War II and resumed in 1945. The parade offered a recorded and scaled-down version in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The parade has been televised since 1939 and has been on NBC since 1953.
Kicking off at West 77th Street and Canal Park West, the parade follows a 2.5-mile route, where it ends at Macy’s Herald Square.
