With the global pandemic impacting our health, safety and well-being, most of the traditional holiday season events we’ve grown accustomed to have been canceled this year.
So, we’re all finding different, new (and, perhaps, temporary) ways to to make the season merry and bright.
One safe and enjoyable activity is driving around looking at lights and displays at houses and from organizations.
Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like more people have decorated their homes this year?

Two people in Erie have made it very easy to find holiday displays!
Kaden Anantarow and Josh Sitter are the administrators for “Erie’s Best Holiday Lights” Facebook group. As of this writing, there are more than 6,300 members with hundreds of posts. Members post photos and locations of displays they find. Or, homeowners post details about their own display.
To make it even easier, the admins put together a map to help you navigate your tour!
With more than 100 homes on the list, it’s worth a drive to Erie.
While you’re driving around, be sure to check out Asbury Woods and Presque Isle.
