No, it wasn’t the Grinch.
Organizers of the Erie Maritime Museum said flooding on Oct. 31 inside the Bayfront building’s basement ruined all of the decorations staff use for the annual Christmas Tree Ship event with the U.S. Brig Niagara.
In a Facebook post, organizers say they are seeking ornaments, trees, lights, garland.
The museum is located at 150 E. Front St. Donations are accepted Thursdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Nov. 30, or they can be delivered to the staff’s decoration party on Dec. 2.
