Get ready for the 95th Macy’s Parade

Let’s have a parade!

The 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade steps off Nov. 25 in New York City and across the country on NBC.

“For our 95th celebration, Macy’s has created a spectacle to remember featuring a dazzling array of high-flying balloons, animated floats and incredible performers. We can’t wait to help New York City and the nation kick off the holiday season with the return of this cherished tradition,” parade executive producer Will Coss said in a news release issued by the company.

The parade will feature 15 balloons, 28 floats, more than 800 clowns, 10 marching bands and so much more.

Among the new balloons to be featured include Baby Yoda; Pikachu and Eevee; Tiptoe, the new star of Macy’s “Believe” campaign; and Toni, the Macy’s bandleader bear.

A new Ronald McDonald balloon will also make its way to Herald Square. This will be the fifth iteration of the McDonald’s mascot. The Ronald McDonald balloon is as tall as a three-story building. Believe it or not but Ronald McDonald didn’t join the parade as a balloon until 1987!

New to the parade, the “Celebration Gator” float from the Louisiana Office of Tourism is the longest float in parade history. It measures 60 feet from mouth to tail!

Returning this year, and celebrating its 25th anniversary on Nickelodeon, is the “Blue’s Clues” float!

Watch the 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade at 9 a.m. Nov. 25 on NBC and Peacock.
