Like sands through the hourglass, so are the holidays of our lives… From daytime dramas to feel-good holiday movies, check out these Hallmark flicks starring some of your favorite soap opera stars.

(This is likely an incomplete list. If you know of another current/former daytime star in a 2021 Hallmark movie, let me know.)

Coyote Creek Christmas

“General Hospital” alum Ryan Paevey has certainly made his mark on Hallmark holiday movies. And he stars in another one — “Coyote Creek Christmas” — this year alongside Janel Parrish. This movie premiered Oct. 31.

Next Stop, Christmas

Get ready for this star-studded holiday movie. Chandler Massey (Will Horton on “Days of our Lives” and “Beyond Salem”) stars in this movie alongside Lyndsy Fonseca (ex-Colleen, “The Young and the Restless”). Little seems to be known about Massey’s character. But this movie is full of well-known actors: Erika Slezak (“One Life to Live”), Christopher Lloyd (“Back to the Future”) and Lea Thompson (“Back to the Future”). Tune into this one on Nov. 6.

Open By Christmas

Sami Brady left Salem and nobody has heard from her since. Coincidentally, Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady, Days of our Lives”) has been busy filming a new holiday movie that features her alongside Brennan Elliott. “Open By Christmas” premiers Nov. 12.

Nantucket Noel

Stop me if you’ve heard this storyline before: Woman falls for developer’s son after learning her shop will be forced to close when said love interest’s developer dad wants to build something new there. Christmas at Castle Hart

Hallmark queen Lacey Chabert (ex-Bianca, “All My Children”) is back with another holiday movie. Not much is known yet about this one, but Hallmark’s site says: “BROOKE BENNETT goes to Ireland for Christmas to search for her Irish roots. While there, she meets charming AIDEN HART, Earl of Glaslough. Mistaken for an elite event planner, she’s hired to host his castle’s epic Christmas party.” This airs Nov. 27.

The Christmas Contest

This movie stars John Brotherton (Jared, “One Life To Live”) who reunites on-screen with Candace Cameron Bure for the first time since “Fuller House.” Barbara Niven (Liz, “One Life To Live”) also stars in this one, which premiers Nov. 28.

A Very Merry Bridesmaid

Casey Deidrick (ex-Chad DiMera on “Days of our Lives”) will star alongside Emily Osment in Hallmark’s “A Very Merry Bridesmaid.” The movie airs Dec. 4. Deidrick was last on “Days” in 2013.

The Christmas House 2: Deck Those Halls

The Mitchell brothers are back! This Hallmark sequel marks the second Hallmark movie featuring an LGBTQ storyline. Jonathan Bennett (JR, “All My Children”) is back in this movie, which premiers Dec. 18.
