David Archuleta will release his 12-track holiday album, “Warm Me Up,” on Oct. 30.
The album combines original songs with covers of “Let It Snow” and “Grown-Up Christmas List.”
Archuleta drew on a range of musical influences while making the album, including New Edition and the Gap Band. “Santa’s On His Way Tonight” takes inspiration from Freddie Mercury, according to People.
Archuleta said he wanted the project to be fun and to help him find his own way of connecting with the holiday in a new chapter of his life. The album follows his earlier holiday releases, including “Christmas from the Heart” in 2009, “Winter in the Air” in 2018 and “My Only Wish” in 2025.
He’ll take “Warm Me Up” on a 14-city tour beginning Nov. 28 in Salt Lake City. Other cities include Atlanta, Georgia; Arlington, Texas; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; New Haven, Connecticut; New York City; Erie, Pennsylvania; and Toronto, Ontario.
