Here are some Pittsburgh area Hanukkah events for 2025!

Hanukkah begins at sundown on Sunday, Dec. 14, and continues through the evening of Monday, Dec. 22.

• Dec. 14
  • Chabad of Squirrel Hill will host its Menorah Car Parade at 4:30 p.m. Community members participating are asked to gather in the Rodef Shalom parking lot, 4905 Fifth Ave. Parade route is posted on the link.
  • South Hills Lights Chanukah Festival, presented by the Chabad of South Hills, will be held at 5 p.m. in the Dormont Pool parking lot, 1801 Dormont Ave. Festival includes lighting of the menorah and a gelt drop from a fire truck.
• Dec. 15
  • Menorah lighting at the City-County Building on Grant Street (5 p.m.)
  • Chabad Jewish Center of Cranberry will host a menorah lighting, gelt drop and more at 5 p.m.
• Dec. 16
  • Chabad Jewish Center of Cranberry will host a menorah lighting and gelt drop at 5 p.m.
