On Saturday, I had the absolute joy of participating in the “Not Your Average Holiday Parade, YaJagoff,” hosted by two of my favorite Pittsburghers, Rachael and John from Ya Jagoff Media.

If you’re familiar with their work, you already know they bring a uniquely Pittsburgh flavor to everything they do — and this parade was no exception. It was the perfect blend of holiday cheer and Yinzer pride!

The event was held in The Block Northway parking lot, and let me tell you, calling it “not your average holiday parade” was spot on.

Instead of the traditional street parade, participants paraded from stop to stop, enjoying activities, meeting local celebs and soaking up the holiday spirit.

This creative format made the whole experience feel interactive and engaging — the perfect way to kick off the season!

The day featured so many Pittsburgh staples.

The Pirate Parrot made an appearance, joined by two of the Pirates’ beloved pierogi mascots, who brought their usual energy and charm. Iconic Pittsburgh companies like Mancini’s Bakery and Jenny Lee made the event even more special with their tasty treats and nostalgic vibes.

And, of course, the event ushered in Pittsburgh’s very own Santa!

Adding to the magic, 100.7 Star Pittsburgh radio hosts Kelly and Elista took on the roles of the yinzer version of Hoda and Savannah, and they crushed it.

Their humor, warmth and excitement brought the perfect touch of festive fun to the event.

Honestly, it felt like I was watching a live holiday special starring two of Pittsburgh’s brightest personalities! (Maybe there’s something in the future of a “Kelly & Elista Holiday Spectacular ‘n at.”)

What I loved most about this event was how it captured the true spirit of Pittsburgh: community, creativity and a little bit of jagoff humor.

Rachael and John have such a knack for celebrating what makes this city special, and I’m always thrilled to see their events grow in popularity.

Being invited to share my love of Christmas and the holiday season with fellow Pittsburghers felt so rewarding, especially in such a uniquely fun setting.

To anyone who missed out, be sure to check aht the video and mark your calendar for next year — trust me, this is an event that can’t be missed.

From the festive vibes to the very Pittsburgh touches, it’s everything you could want to kick off the season.

Huge thanks to Rachael and John for pulling off yet another amazing event. As always, you make Pittsburghers proud to call this city home.

Here’s to a joyful holiday season, ya jagoffs! 🎄
