Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens’ Winter Flower Show returns for the 2024 holiday season. The Pittsburgh conservatory and botanical gardens features an array of holiday trees, topiaries, designs and lights.

The show will offer new displays featuring mystical creatures, holiday trees and its signature floral delights, including amaryllis, orchids and varieties of poinsettias. Plus, the beauty isn’t just indoors — check out Phipps’ celebrated Winter Light Garden that fills the outdoor spaces with spectacular lights in vivid shades that will awe guests of all ages.

Indoors, be sure to check out the Garden Railroad with miniature recreations.

It’s important to note that even if you’ve been to a Phipps’ holiday season event before, the displays change every holiday season!

Phipps says NEW features this year include:

  • an enchanted entrance into the holiday season, with color-changing lights and fantastic flora;
  • magical unicorn topiary surrounded by iridescent snowflakes and warm white lighting;
  • show-stopping light curtain hanging above red, gold, silver and white poinsettia trees;
  • a pair of serene swans swimming around a sky-high orb tree covered in white twinkling spheres;
  • fairy tale-inspired display brought to life with a captivating castle and a glowing carriage amid soft pink flora and icicle lights;
  • cut trees decked out in light blue, teal, pink, orange and lime green with fluttering fairies flying overhead;
  • charming gnomes decorating trees with straw stars, mushrooms, berries and pinecones;
  • trees glowing throughout the Tropical Forest exhibit to create a canopy of cascading lights;
