Kennywood’s Holiday Lights is bigger and better in 2025

Experience Western Pennsylvania’s favorite amusement park — at the holidays!

Kennywood Park’s Holiday Lights features more than 3 million lights, Pennsylvania’s tallest Christmas tree, rides, food, Santa, train display, dancing lights displays, community/school performance groups and more.

Here’s what the park says you can expect for Holiday Lights 2025:

• 🦌 BACK AGAIN! Meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and his friends Clarice, Bumble and Sam the Snowman in a new walk-through
• 🎄 NEW! Santa arrives on the Gingerbread Express: Nightly, 15 minutes after park opening in Gingerbread Junction. Stop by Kennywood Station in the new Gingerbread Junction area to welcome Santa and his friends from the North Pole!
• 🎅 NEW! Meet Santa in Gingerbread Junction
• 🎄 NEW! Gingerbread Junction light show: Nightly, throughout the evening; Walk your way through thousands of animated lights synchronized to holiday hits.
• 🕺 NEW! Jingle Bell Jamboree: Nightly at Kennyville Stage. Join your favorite Kennywood mascot friends as they lead the dance floor with fun routines.
• 🎄 Nightly tree lighting ceremony
• 🚂 Explore a massive model train display
• 📨 Send a letter to the North Pole
• 🎶 Local choir groups on select dates

Location: Around the Lagoon
Times: Every 30 Minutes (Beginning at 5:30 p.m.)

Watch as thousands of animated lights come to life, transforming the area around the Lagoon into a winter wonderland, synchronized to holiday music.

NEW! Spirit of the Season: A Holiday Celebration 

Location: Garden Stage
Times: 4 p.m. (On Days the Park Opens at 3 p.m.), 6:30 p.m & 8 p.m.

Join the park in a celebration of what makes this season “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” with songs from Michael Bublé to Ariana Grande and Bruno Mars!
