The city of Pittsburgh’s annual gingerbread display is back for 2023!
The city’s Office of Special Events is seeking anybody interested to register for email communications as the contest nears. You can register for those emails here.
As of Sept. 4, no dates for the 2023 competition have been posted.
This year will mark the 21st year of the competition, which became part of the city after the annual display was forced out of PPG Place’s Wintergarden.
The display, which is featured inside the City-County Building, kicks off on Light Up Night and usually runs through the first few days of January.
